I've used this last year whilst in Cork, (CIT) i did a speed test of my internet at my accomodation, i literally got 1bit per second, that is literally the result i got, it was terrible,

I was able to download a 350MB file on one of these Mobile Broadband appliances, and had it downloaded in less than an hour, which is not bad at all. The only thing i would complain about is they get very hot, and the process involved to log on with it can be irritating sometimes.
