Irish middleware company Havok and Intel have launched a worldwide competition with a cash prize of US$40,000 to find the “next big thing” in video game development. Entitled the Havok Physics Innovation Contest, amateur game developers are being asked to create an inventive, playable PC game demo using the Intel sponsored no-charge PC version of the Emmy award-winning Havok Physics software.
